Congratulations to three Newbridge College Students: Joy Duggan 6th year, Lara Prendergast 6th year and Heidi Lyons 5th Year who received their Leinster LGFA Minor medals yesterday at a presentation in Naas GAA Club. All three players were part of a Kildare minor team that reached the all Ireland final. A special mention to Joy Duggan, whose performances at cornerback earned her the Kildare LGFA Minor player of the year.

The Ellers had our first away day match against St Mary's College on Wednesday the 13th of September. We togged out 3 Eller Teams on the Day St Marys Had a very strong contingent of 4 teams.

Equestrian News

Our Open riders came 3rd in the League which qualified them to bring a team to the "School Team Show Jumping Open Championships" in Balmoral on May 13th. This is a fantastic opportunity for the girls and they are very proud to be representing Newbridge College.
