Leinster Senior League Semi-Final v Cistercian College, Roscrea



The Senior 1sts headed to Donnybrook for a League semi-final against Cistercian College, Roscrea. The College saw a Billy Cross penalty come back off the post before he converted for an early 3-0 lead.

After the midterm break the Senior 1sts returned to League action on Wednesday with a trip to Bird Avenue to face C.U.S.

The Senior 1sts had their first loss of the year on Wednesday as they took on Wesley College in Sandyford in the League. 

Rhys Ruddock joins Newbridge College Senior Coaching Team
Newbridge College are delighted to announce that Rhys Ruddock is joining the Senior rugby coaching ticket for the forthcoming season. Rhys will be our new defense coach and will work alongside Johne Murphy who is our Director of Rugby and Senior Head Coach.

The Senior squad brought their season to a close on Saturday when a Senior Select XV travelled to Naas to take on Naas R.F.C. in the annual Michael Higgins Memorial match.

A Fantastic Performance

Hard luck to our JCT who gave a fantastic performance against St. Michael's in Donnybrook.  For the full sixty minutes of the game all of the team gave everything they had.  They certainly did their school proud as also did their supporters who provided plenty of cheer from the Newbridge end of the stand. Mini Company Finals

In the recent Kildare Enterprise Mini Company Finals held in Kilashee House Hotel, Newbridge College was represented by four out of the seventeen finalists.  Three of these mini companies went on to win awards which was a fantastic achievement.
