Meitheal Leaders 2024-2025

As Meitheal Leader's job is to make the new 1st Year students feel welcomed and help them settle into a new school environment. For the majority of students, they are coming to Newbridge College without many familiar faces so Meitheal Leaders work hard to help students build new friendships that'll hopefully last for years to come.

Typical events run by Meitheal Leaders include running a sports and team building camp over the summer before the start of school with the help of school teachers and Prefects to make incoming students familiar with each other and the large campus, organising an ice cream walk, pizza party and a quiz night for all 1st Year students to make their first year in Newbridge College memorable.

On top of this, two Meitheal Leaders are allocated to each 1st year class to organise classroom based games and offer support throughout the year. Meitheal Leaders hope to leave the current 1st Year students with good memories of their time in 1st Year and hopefully influence some to become future Meitheal Leaders in their final year in Newbridge College.
