Hockey has traditionally been the major sport  for the girls of Newbridge College.  Approximately 175 girls play hockey with 9 teams participating in the Leinster Leagues and Cups.

Training is run every afternoon from 4pm – 5pm with each team working with a dedicated coach. Although  we strive  to compete at the highest level in the Leinster Leagues primarily our Hockey is based on having fun, meeting friends and enjoying an extra curricular activity outdoors in a safe and carefree environment.

All of these elements enrich students experience of school and the memories of Hockey stay with them long after they leave.
