Badminton
Badminton takes place in the school gym on Mondays and Thursdays from 4pm to 5pm.
We cater for all ages and levels of players. Bring your own racket if you have one or we will have some if you don't.
Badminton can be played for fun or for those who want to compete we enter teams in the Kildare Badminton competition.
2024-2024
This year our Div 2 U19 team (photo above) of Killian Marquardt, Fionn Brennan, Keane Marquardt and Charlie O'Donoghue beat all other Kildare schools to become Kildare Champions. This team will go forward to represent Kildare in the Leinster finals in Baldoyle Badminton Centre in January 2025.
At U16 we had two teams representing Newbridge College in Kildare Badminton Competition. One of our teams - Jonathan Hayden, Aaron Wallace, James Smith and Pierce Phelan, beat all opposition to win this competition and will now travel to Dublin to represent Newbridge College and Kildare in the Leinster Finals.
Our U14 teams will be in action in February.
Basketball
Basketball takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays in the school Gym from 4pm to 5pm.
