We received a fantastic response to our Rewards System on VSware. Positive points are awarded to students on the VSware system to acknowledge positive contributions by students in school e.g., leadership, academic achievement, kindness, sustainability, improved work, etc. The Rewards System increases motivation and wellbeing. This ultimately translates into more effective learning.
All students of all abilities are recognised. Inclusion is central to our acknowledgement and rewards system.
The Leaderboard rankings are communicated to students each Friday, so classes are notified of their points. We have the wonderful opportunity of gathering in our Achievement Assemblies with students to acknowledge and celebrate their achievements and successes termly. We have also linked the points system to our annual awards on Awards Evening.
Each year a variety of Certificates of Achievement are presented to students such as Gold, Silver and Bronze Certificates once a student receives 150 points, 100 points, 75 points, 50 points, etc. respectively. This is done on a termly basis.
The Rewards System promotes and rewards positive behaviours for learning across our college and creates a positive learning environment for all.
