The Young SVP group is open to all students from all year groups. It is non-competitive and offers students a positive and meaningful experience in volunteering and social action. Our group aims to form valuable connection with the local community and sees the giving of time and attention as important as raising much needed funds.
Through our projects we gain an understanding of the work of SVP, social justice, and how to engage in social action in enjoyable and rewarding ways.

Collecting and delivering children’s clothes, toys and books to our local Newbridge SVP shop in the run up to Christmas.
Connecting with the Young SVP team in the Holy Family for a joint bake sale to raise fund for the Day Care Centre in Newbridge.
We have formed a rewarding connection with our neighbours, St Marks Special School. Our students have visited each week to help with PE classes and other tasks. It has been a fun and enlivening experience on both sides.
